After living overseas with his wife for a few years, Covid-19 brought them back to the States. With a passion for people and Lancaster-based businesses, Ryan started Five Thirteen Media with a dream to help other businesses succeed!

Lead Editor

Caleb Tyson has been our Lead Video Editor since May 2023. He is a multi-award-winning editor with an eye for detail and precision and a passion for telling impactful stories creatively.

Bethany Ballantyne

Social Media Manager

Bethany Ballantyne joined our team in April 2024 as our Social Media Manager. Her care for detail and her creative eye help our clients with excellent social media planning and 

strategy.

Founded in 2021

For the longest time, Ryan found so much enjoyment through video and photography as a hobby. It brought many of his passions together – nature, people, and creativity. It wasn’t until he gained confidence in his work after a season of ministry in India, that he considered doing videography as a business.

Helping others grow their businesses is his biggest motivation. As a business owner himself, Ryan knows how important it is to effectivity communicate who you are and what you do as a business. At Five Thirteen Media, we believe video is an excellent tool to do just that! We are so excited to get to know each business and person we get to work with!

Why "Five Thirteen"?

Because of this guy right here! Merv Glick is the inspiration behind everything Ryan Glick does. He taught his son, Ryan, what hard work looks like, how to love well, and how to live every day to be a blessing to others. Ryan's father passed away in March of 2021 after an 11-year battle with Parkinson’s disease and a 5-year battle with dementia. For 25 years, Merv Glick was a fireman and a fire chief in southern Lancaster County. It was a large part of his life… their whole family’s life. The number 513 was the station number he represented for all those years. As a little boy, Ryan would hear it on the radio and knew exactly what it meant; he was so proud! Ryan wanted to create his business in his honor.
