📋 What a Beginner Class Looks Like
Here’s a breakdown of a typical class:
Warm-Up (5–10 min): Light drills like shrimping, rolls, or movement exercises.
Technique (20–30 min): The instructor demonstrates a move or concept, and then you’ll practice with a partner.
Drilling (10–15 min): Repetitions to help lock in what you just learned.
Rolling (Optional): Controlled sparring. Totally fine to sit and watch your first time!
🧼 What to Bring and Wear
Comfortable workout clothes (t-shirt and shorts are fine)
A water bottle
Flip flops or slides (for off the mat)
Optional: towel, change of clothes
If it’s a gi class and you don’t have one yet, we’ve got loaners.
